Metallica - Garage Inc. (1998)

The double disc covers extravaganza is amazing that all the songs are better than the originals in fact. It's a collection of recordings and B-Sides that caught fame as Metallica always played cover songs at there gigs in there setlist since day one. The first disc recordings are the newly produced songs from 1998. The second disc features the songs from Garage Days Re-Revisited '87, Garage Days Revisted '84, B-Sides & One Offs '88-'91 and Motorheadache '95. It's basically a good selection of artists and songs that influenced Metallica to become what they are and Metallica's way to give credit where it's due. It's a massive collection over two hours of material. It seems to work with there hard rock and metal fans because it's half and half where people can relate to the songs in the genre demographic. Songs to check from first disc "Turn the Page", "Whiskey in the Jar" and "Free Speech for the Dumb". Songs to check from second disc "Last Caress/Green Hell", "So What" and "Overkill".
