This is probably one of the best Kiss records they've done in thirty years and I think Creatures of the Night was as substantially as good as this one as there best. It seems ever since they stopped wearing the paint the interest in Kiss went down regardless if they had hits during the eighties and the nineties. Vinnie Vincent had influence on this album which made it better cause the three they did with him (Creatures of the Night, Lick it Up, Revenge) were the best ones or the last good ones. They were better with him because everyone knows "Unholy" was there last best single. I liked how they played a little heavier, they got into the eighties arena rock scene which totally screwed up some of there fan base but, they made choices that were beneficial to them financially. I think they were good at making anthems despite some of there albums are fillers galore. Unfortunately this is there last album in there prime.
